The story of TerraGift began when three friends vacationed in Turkey. All three were fascinated by archeology and the ancient city of Izmir. Originally known as Smyrna, Izmir was founded long before 3000BC by the Greeks. Historians consider Izmir to have been founded about the same time as Troy. This fairytale city on the coast of the Aegean Sea drew the three wanderers as if by magic.
